About the Harbor Walk:
Songs&Stories Open Air

Neighborhood festival. As usual, you can kick back and relax at “rös’chen” starting at 3:00 p.m. with your first beer or perk up with some special walk-friendly drinks. Of course, you’re also welcome on the terrace. If you need a bite to eat for the tour, you’ve come to the right place: in addition to our popular sandwiches and stews, we’re offering a special “Kombüse’n’Extra” deal today. And will there be a party tonight? The music will definitely be on point at the Kult(ur)-Spelunke—with or without DJs.
Before that, a lively outdoor live music program awaits: Located across from the bar, Blücherpark—the “flagship of Dortmund’s underground music scene”—features a small live stage with irreverent entertainment that gets your mind, heart, and hips moving:

Cats & Dinosaurs
The world’s most radical swing band! With their punk-influenced vintage jazz and political lyrics in Swedish, English, and German, this collective from Gothenburg has gained a global following. They honor the jazz pioneers not by copying them note for note, but by embracing their energy and radical attitude: Jazz was the punk of the 1920s!
Plus, as dancers themselves, they know exactly what a Lindy Hop event needs.
Cats & Dinosaurs have been performing together since 2014 and have released four albums to date. But their reputation is based mainly on their powerful live shows—a surreal mix of cabaret, sing-along, and political rally. Over the years, they’ve played at a wide variety of venues, from punk and jazz clubs to rock festivals, dance halls, and opera houses—and they leave a lasting impression everywhere they go…
…and they’re sure to be remembered for their three sets (4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m.) at the SOCIAL DANCE
