For the fourth event in the Spätschicht series, the Gropius Bau and Outreach Berlin invite you to a free live program at the Gropius Bau.

After three summer editions in the open air, our Spätschicht event series is moving into the historic atrium of the Gropius Bau. For this edition, we have teamed up with Outreach Berlin, an organization for mobile youth work, and are devoting ourselves entirely to soccer. You can look forward to a spoken word reading, a screening, a soccer tournament and lots of live acts.

Spätschicht is a monthly, free series of events with an interdisciplinary program ranging from talks, book presentations and film screenings to concerts and DJ sets. The program is sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, experimental and may also clash - a space to discover new things and change perspectives.

Outreach Berlin has been running youth work in Berlin for more than 30 years, focusing on public spaces and local areas - such as residential areas or neighborhoods - for young people. The organization stands for a new and independent approach that takes into account the different needs and backgrounds of young people and focuses on active participation.

With the Street Football Club 030 and Outreach Reinickendorf's Asphalt League, Outreach is setting clear priorities in street soccer throughout Berlin. Both formats combine sport, education and community work, create safe contact points in squares and neighborhoods and promote fair play, diversity and self-organized participation.

An awareness team will be available during and after the event. You can contact the awareness team if you have experienced discrimination or harassment, have to deal with conflicts or emotions or need someone to talk to. The team consists of trained anti-discrimination advisors. You can recognize the awareness team by their purple lanyards.

During the event, photos and videos may be taken in which you could be recognized. By attending, you consent to these recordings being used to communicate the event or exhibition.
