Spuren im Tetrapack - Experimenteller Tiefdruck mit Lilith Queisser
In the organizer's words:
Intaglio printing leaves marks when a smooth surface is scraped away until an image emerges. In etching, lines and areas are incised, etched, and cut into a metal plate. The workshop offers an experimental approach to this classic technique by transforming ordinary household objects into printing plates. We use empty Tetra Paks and work on their surfaces with a utility knife, sandpaper, and etching needles. The idea of recycling is just as much a part of the process as experimenting with the technique. The resulting drawings are then printed using the etching press. By the end, participants will have created their own prints and, if applicable, a small print run that they can take home.
