Workshop followed by a visit to the opera

3:30 p.m.: Workshop in the Interim of the Central Library, Hohe Str. 68-82
6 p.m.: Guided tour of the library
7:30 pm: Visit to the opera at the StaatenHaus, Rheinparkweg 1, 50679 Cologne

This event format invites opera novices as well as professionals and other interested parties to try their hand at theater using Giacomo Puccini's work "Manon Lescaut" and to find a playful, aesthetic approach to the plot, the music, the characters and their relationships.

Music theater teachers from the Cologne Opera will guide you through the workshop with easy steps and a lot of fun. Together, a space is created in which improvisation, acting, discussion and reflection can take place.

Immediately afterwards, the music library introduces itself and those who are curious can join a 30-minute guided tour through the interim of the central library.

A joint visit to the performance in the evening rounds off the project and is included in the ticket price.
