PICK OF THE DAY

You cannot miss this event.

In the organizer's words:

"St. Georg: A Colorful Art Gallery"

Opening reception on August 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. With sparkling wine and seltzer.

Free admission.

Starting in August, the vibrant St. Georg neighborhood will transform into an art gallery. At the initiative of Stefan Zinkgraf, selected business owners—from retail and the food and beverage industry—as well as cultural institutions are making their spaces and storefronts available to showcase the works of some 32 artists at a total of 27 locations. What makes this special: the exhibition will primarily feature works by artists who live and work in St. Georg themselves. At the Kulturladen , works by Christoph L. Wagener, Genia Middecke, Matthias Blumenstein, and Natalie Gudin will be on display.

We’ll also be unveiling the Kulturladen’s new murals, which were created by children and teens from St. Georg as part of a free summer workshop in collaboration with the artist duo ZONENKINDER Collective CAROLÏN & PHILIPP and our partner PINK Beratung & Training GmbH. Come and be amazed!

Exhibition dates: August 30, 2026, through October 8, 2026
