Staatsangehörigkeitsreform, Wahlrecht und Partizipation
In the organizer's words:
A Look Back and a Look Ahead.
Two years have passed since the citizenship reform: In this event, we’ll take a critical look at the naturalization process since the reform and the calls for universal suffrage.
How are citizenship and the right to vote connected? Who is allowed to vote, and who is excluded? What impact has the recent reform had on obtaining a German passport?
We’ll also focus on the results of our symbolic election in August: How did people without the right to vote cast their ballots? Why can’t or won’t people vote? And what demands are we making of policymakers?
With these questions, we seek to engage in dialogue with policymakers and civil society.
This is an event organized by thePASSt uns allenalliance in cooperation withwith wings and roots e.V., Migrationsrat Berlin e.V., moveGlobal e.V., Späti e.V., andBKMO.
