Stadtgeschichte digital

Together with kargah e.V., we are working on a digital city tour that tells the city's history from various perspectives. The basis for this is an archive of interviews with contemporary witnesses and experts that visualizes places, memories and people who have positively shaped social life in Hanover.

In this workshop, we will work together to develop content for the "hanno. guide" app: We define topics, develop visual languages and look for creative storytelling formats. The aim of the workshop is to digitally accompany, process and supplement paths in analog urban space and to make perspectives and stories visible that have no place in public space - in order to "hack" urban history.

The hanno.guide app is a project of the Department of Culture with the Historical Museum Hannover, the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage and the City Archive.
