STOFFEL 2026: Franki und die Gutleuts
In the organizer's words:
At Günthersburgpark: NDW Indie Pop
Founded in the summer of '25, the band released its debut EP in April '26 and, as the region’s nerdiest hidden gem, regularly performs at smaller clubs in the Rhine-Main area.
In Franki’s dream worlds, anything is possible. Here, someone rides a carousel of thoughts, flies through space in a UFO, scrambles along the edges of emotional abysses, and even makes peace with their inner critic. Emotions turn into songs that are as complex as they are catchy, as light as they are intense. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes self-deprecatingly wild, mostly danceable, always moving.
The classic rock lineup—two guitars, bass, and drums—is skillfully enhanced by groovy baritone sax lines, ethereal synths, old-school organ sounds, and virtuoso solos. Influenced by psychedelic Krautrock, shoegaze, and post-punk, they create a completely unique sound. For anyone who loves music outside the mainstream and wants to hear inspiring, honest lyrics, Franki and the Gutleuts come highly recommended.
