stream

In the organizer's words:

How do you unlearn time?

What can my body see?

Which space holds

stream is an installation-based dance performance that creates a meditative experience.

Two performers create a constantly shifting space. At times slowing down, at times driven by centrifugal forces, they invite the audience in Hall 6 to immerse themselves in a state of intense sensory perception and to be transported into a different experience of time.

The ebb and flow of the soundscape—inspired by the infinite orbits of celestial bodies—creates a meditative pull and gives rise to a cosmos that seems foreign yet familiar. Within this cosmos, the performers move along orbits that cause the space to spin ever more rapidly. Within elliptical spatial structures, the performers’ movements unfold, veer off course, and converge once more.

Both the performers and the audience are challenged to let themselves be swept up by the flow of movement and to lose themselves in it. Where can we let ourselves drift?
