Street Photography in Berlin – Photography Workshop

Street photography is the ever-changing, fascinatingquest to find theextraordinary in the ordinary—those special moments that, often visible for just an instant, tell compelling stories before they vanish again. 

The goal of this workshop is to sharpen your eye for unique subjects and further develop your own photographic style.

To get started, we’ll hold a focused seminar on street photography, composition, ethics, and the history of photography. Then we’ll head out—to the places where Berlin is loud, quiet, quirky, beautiful, and full of surprises.Everyone will shoot with their own camera; we’ll discover subjects, discuss image ideas, and let the city carry us along.

On the second day, we’ll review the photos we’ve taken. Together. Appreciatively. And honestly. With constructive feedback and plenty of suggestions for your individual photographic journey.

Street Photography in Berlinis designed as a 2-day workshop and is offered on weekends (Sat+Sun) and on holidays/long weekends. It’s also suitable for visitors to Berlin—in addition to intensive workshop sessions, there’s plenty of time left for other activities in Berlin. 
The workshop group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.Beveragesare provided at freiraum.
Each participant will receive acertificate of participation.

Program

Day 1 | 10:00 a.m. – approx. 5:00 p.m.

• Welcome and getting to know each other
• Expectations and Goals
• Introductory seminar on street photography
• Photo tour to selected locations in Berlin

Day 2 | 11:00 a.m. – approx. 3:00 p.m.

• Workshop featuring participants’ presentations of their street photography shoots
• Critique and discussion 
• Feedback and practical tips

Reservation and Registration

Here’s how you can easily secure a spot right away for your preferred workshop date:

• Select a date from our schedule (see above). There are still spots available for all the dates listed there.

• Send us your name, email address, preferred date, and a deposit of 150 EUR via PayPal.

• As soon as we receive your deposit, your spot on your preferred date will be reserved for you! We’ll then email you an invoice for the total amount.

• You can cancel up to 10 days before your preferred date. A processing fee of 10 EUR will apply.

• We’ll contact you before your session with all the important details. The workshop will take place in (almost) any weather.
