ARTISTS

studio rainbow is a queer techno party in Cologne aimed at everyone who appreciates electronic music, openness, and respectful coexistence. At Club Z, driving techno meets a diverse community where people can celebrate together regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or identity.

Musically, studio rainbow ranges from hypnotic to driving and energetic techno. The lineup brings together DJs from the queer scene and Cologne’s club culture, who deliver varied sets well into the early morning hours. Instead of mainstream trends, the focus is on the music—with an atmosphere that offers equal space for letting loose, connecting, and freedom.

The event is intentionally designed as a safe space. A clear awareness concept, mutual respect, and consent form the foundation for the night together. The goal is to create a place where people feel safer.

Thanks to its central location in Cologne, Club Z is easily accessible by public transportation or on foot from the popular nightlife districts around Brüsseler Platz, Friesenplatz, and Stadtgarten. This makes studio rainbow ideal for both Cologne residents and visitors from throughout the Rhineland.

Whether you’re looking for a queer party in Cologne, a techno night with an open community, or an alternative club experience, at Studio Rainbow you’ll find an event that combines music, diversity, and a spirit of mutual respect. Each event takes on its own unique character—with rotating artists, a special energy on the dance floor, and a community that puts celebrating together at the center of the experience.
