We invite you to a mixed music show with a wide variety of guests, the Südbahnhofkonzerte at Bahnwärter Thiel.
VAN ADAM [Munich]
The band VAN ADAM have created their very own aesthetic: wide awake, bright-eyed and a musical art project. VAN ADAM want their music to relate to today's reality and be an artistic snapshot of our time. The premise is to put a finger in the wound and point out serious topics, but still do justice to the claim of dynamic and mature art. The speed of many developments and events - whether economic or socio-political - gives some people the feeling of being left behind. However, the charts are currently characterized by distraction and irrelevance; looking away instead of confronting. VAN ADAM want to counter this: Away from escapism and towards humanism.
Orion Walsh [Nebraska]
He can already look back on numerous tours through the United States. Now US singer-songwriter Orion Walsh from Nebraska is coming back to Europe with his eighth studio album "Walking Through the Forest" in his luggage. After more than 10 years on tour, the troubadour of folk and blues hasn't grown a bit tired. Each of his shows sparkles with energy, charm and the authenticity of real, handmade music from the States and builds up a yearning tension that is hard to resist.
Hallali [France]
What began as folk songwriting and DIY tours has long since become a matter of genuine encounters for Hallali aka Pierre Cordier - with people, places, emotions. In his music, he combines punk energy, melancholy and fine guitar playing, always with the aim of questioning boundaries and initiating change. If everyone goes home with a smile at the end, that is true success for him.
Host: Suntone [Munich]
Our wonderful host Suntone will lead you through the evening: an acoustic guitar and a loop station will take you into a mystical - melancholic - psychedelic world. Hypnotic grooves meet beautiful melodies, purely acoustic music is combined with electronica, always interesting and challenging - and often danceable! Ambient, drum bass, prog, world music, singer-songwriter fragments, funk, classical elements blend into a unity.
