GRÜNAU 50 delves deep into the soul of an entire neighborhood. Leipzig Grünau, just as it is: raw, approachable, and full of contrasts.
From ice swimming at Kulki to seniors dancing hip-hop and casual moments of everyday life, the series follows people who are helping to shape their neighborhood. Like an urban diary, it collects encounters, everyday scenes, and chance moments that, piece by piece, weave together into a larger panorama.
The five-part series by Birk Poßecker focuses on the dynamics of a large housing complex that is often described but rarely gets to speak for itself.
