Sommelières and sommeliers around the world agree that champagne is one of the best choices to perfectly accompany sushi. The gentle sparkle and fresh acidity wonderfully complement the slightly sweet aroma of the rice vinegar-infused sushi rice. The tangy note of the champagne also harmonizes perfectly with the subtle flavours of the raw fish and vegetarian fillings.
In the stylish restaurant at Potsdamer Platz, Laurent-Perrier champagne meets the extraordinary sushi creations of sushi masters Seiji Yagami, Naoto Kono and Quang Vu Ngoc. In addition to nigiri, maki, ura maki and vegetarian sushi, there are various buffet and live stations serving tuna and king crab, classic miso soup and wakame salad, as well as beef fillet with oyster sauce, coriander and Bombay onions, vegetable tempura with ginger and kimchi mayonnaise, mussels with yuzukosho and rice, and pork ribs with soy, ginger and young leek. For desserts, guests can look forward to a rice tart and champagne sorbet, among other things.
