With their unique mix of Nordic jazz, soft ambient and a large portion of soul, Svaneborg Kardyb are one of the most exciting discoveries on the European music scene. The duo from Denmark - consisting of Nikolaj Svaneborg (piano, synthesizer, Wurlitzer) and Jonas Kardyb (drums, percussion) - creates soundscapes full of calm, warmth and atmosphere.

Since their debut Knob (2019), the two musicians have been inspiring listeners with minimalist grooves, subtle melodies and an interplay that is as precise as it is poetic. With their latest album "Superkilen" (Gondwana Records, 2024), Svaneborg Kardyb open a new chapter: Inspired by a multicultural park in Copenhagen, they create music that builds bridges - between styles, cultures and people.

The duo has already won the Danish Music Awards Jazz as New Talent of the Year and Composer of the Year in 2019, played at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival and wowed audiences in the acclaimed NPR Tiny Desk Concerts series. Their hushed tones and hypnotic rhythms are finding a growing audience far beyond the borders of Scandinavia.

On October 17, 2025, Svaneborg Kardyb will bring their meditative sound journeys to Nr. z. P. in Bielefeld - an evening that promises to be both deeply relaxing and intoxicating.
