SYLVAN
Sylvan is a progressive rock band from Hamburg and emerged in 1998 from the band "Chamäleon", which was founded in 1991. The name is said to go back to the forest god "Silvanus".
The band itself describes their music as "powerful and multi-layered sound with emotional depth".
The music of Sylvan shows again and again borrowings of most different styles, without losing a Sylvan-typical basic sound. Therefore, Sylvan can be found in reviews in various related categories, such as under neo-prog or progressive metal.
