Curtain up! Join us in celebrating the premiere of “Ein Drache macht Theater” — the new comic book for early readers by Sandra Hohenstein and Alena Braune, which will be published by Carlsen Verlag the very next day!

Look forward to an interactive, theatrical reading for children ages 6 and up with author Sandra Hohenstein, voice actress Cosima Ertl, and actor Dominik Greb. Together, we’ll set the stage ablaze: joining in, laughing along, and dancing with us are all encouraged!

Here’s what it’s about:

Kim is horrified: of all people, he’s supposed to play the terrifying dragon in the school play. Roaring, hissing, breathing fire—there’s no way he can do that! But then, backstage, Kim meets Drago, a real dragon. Unfortunately, he’s not exactly terrifying either. Drago secretly snacks on lunch sandwiches and really only wants one thing: to dance. Without further ado, Kim and Drago turn the fairy tale play on its head and come up with their own ending together. Instead of trying to fit in, they work with the whole class to create an unforgettable play that truly suits them.
