Create your own set of handmade ceramics. During this short pottery course you will make a cup and a bowl. Of course, breakfast tastes better with homemade pieces!

This taster course will give you a good grounding in two hand-building techniques. It can be the start of your journey into pottery or a fun activity with a friend. The pieces you create will also make lovely gifts.

This course is suitable for everyone. No experience necessary.

In this taster course you will be able to make two pieces, a bowl and a cup, using two different techniques - thumb printing and slab firing. This is a shorter introductory course but will give you enough time to discover the materials and create something unique. We will also show some decorative techniques so you have the opportunity to make your set completely unique.

The courses take place in a relaxed atmosphere, with a maximum of 8 participants per course. This leaves enough time for a personal chat to get the most out of this taster course.

After the course, leave the pieces to us to finish. We take care of the firing and glazing with a glossy white glaze.

Completion takes about 3-4 weeks and we will notify you by email when they are ready for collection.

Please note that we can only keep pieces for 2 months after notification.

Courses are non-refundable, but you can rebook onto a future course provided you give at least 7 days notice.

By booking a class or open studio session you agree to the following policy.

- Classes are non-refundable, but you can rebook to a future class provided you give written notice at least 7 days before the class date. This means that you will receive a voucher that you can use to book a future course. We cannot make any exceptions,the courses are time and day dependent and can therefore not be refunded, such as a ticket for a movie or concert.

- You may transfer the course to another person if you can't make it, but this still means that the above guidelines apply. Open workshop bookings are non-transferable.

- Our studio is for adults (18 years or older)

- If the event cannot take place, we will reschedule it and you will receive a voucher to use again.
