After more than 500 shows in over 25 countries, including as tour support for acts such as Leoniden, Itchy and Adam Angst, things are just getting started. The fervor with which the musicians have been running the band for almost ten years now is infectious.
With the new album "Courage", released on the band's own label "22Lives Records", The Deadnotes played their biggest headlining tour to date at the beginning of 2020, before the second half of the tour and the festival summer fell victim to the pandemic for an indefinite period and founding member Yannic Arens finally left the band. But getting down and stopping is not an option!

In the last year and a half of the pandemic, the band, now reduced to a duo, released a new video for the album single "Ghost on the Ceiling", exclusively presented by the renowned US magazine "Alternative Press", as well as the "Waldsee Live Session" and was part of the "OFFSTAGE Sessions" of WDR Rockpalast. October 2021 will also see the release of a 7'' vinyl including the new singles "Easy Summer" and "Deer in the Headlights" on which the band sounds bigger and poppier than ever before.

WOODSHIP (Alternative Rock)

In the midst of the great reincarnation, the trio from Unna and Düsseldorf is the tireless electric motor of hypetrain rock music.

Driving dystopian riff rock with a love for sophisticated riffs that get under your skin in symbiosis with modern beats and synthesizers. WOODSHIP's energetic songs draw attention to dystopian grievances, draw a world worth striving for and deal with their own role in it.

Around 100 gigs in Germany, including support shows for Blackout Problems, The Intersphere, LEAP, Razz, Rebecca Lou and Prime Circle as well as a summer of over 15 festivals this year, WOODSHIP have worked themselves up in the DIY spirit.

The steady progress of this inspiring band is attested to by placements on MTV, articles in Guitar, Gitarre & Bass, Visions and radio plays on Fritz unsigned, Radio Bob, Raute Musik and WDR2, where they can also call themselves winners of the "Szene im Westen".

Now WOODSHIP will release their new EP "Cosmography" on September 29, 2023.

At the release show at the Kulturbanausen in the RATINGER HOF, people can expect rock fireworks with full energy, so that the sweat just drips from the ceiling.
