Choral music in the beer garden at Ilse’s Erika!

The Leipzig Theater Choir was founded in 2024 during the Advent singing event at the Theater der Jungen Welt.
Since January 2025, the singers have been rehearsing new songs from the genres of pop, musicals, and film scores.
We have about 80 singers across four vocal ranges.
What makes us unique is that the choir rehearses in two groups, which come together for rehearsal weekends and concerts.
The Theaterchor is directed by Matthias Queck.
