About the Play
What's happening when you can go neither forward nor backward?
When a journey comes to an unexpected halt and you’re forced to come to terms with those who happen to be sitting next to you?
When the signal refuses to turn green and the train simply won’t move, masks and conventions come crashing down.
Trapped between standstill and escalation, a
societal fever dream becomes reality:
You have to face the others, with no way to retreat.
And only one thing is certain: derailment is always just one stop away.

We’d like to take you on a train ride where standing still becomes movement and encounters become challenges. Directed by Till Stauffer, a moving and authentic play was created in just three months in collaboration with an ensemble of 20 people.
