Theaterpremiere: Das Ende des Menschen
In the organizer's words:
THEATER PREMIERE: *The End of Humanity* asks what happens when we truly feel this end. The thought of the apocalypse and decline seems so close to our present, yet so far removed from our actions. We are helpless in the face of the big, wide world.
What begins as individual fear becomes a shared one through shared experiences of mortality—a tragedy in the family or the awareness of global catastrophes.
What does it mean to take responsibility? What does it mean to tell a different story?
The evening weaves together poetic fragments with oral history from Hiroshima—and thus the testimonies of survivors, burned-out cities, and trees sprouting anew.
