And what makes your heart beat faster? And doesn't it feel even better when many hearts beat to the same beat?

In an increasingly complex world, political unrest and hierarchies are dividing society. Strong individualism in an elbow society makes us feel alone and often powerless. Retreating inwards, where one's own opinion becomes the absolute truth with the help of social media, is boring but promises security! But where has the courage to connect with one another gone? Or is a community based on solidarity just a utopia?

Because, let's be honest, we are actually all looking for people who appreciate us, respect us and see us as we are. We are looking for exchanges that help us move forward and collective thoughts that give us a sense of security. Collectives bring together people who share something important. They work, lead and make decisions collectively with their own organizational structures.

What else could our society look like and what role should community play in it?

The Denkwerkstatt sees itself as a platform for questions about the future and is organized as part of the TONALi Festival and is planned and implemented by the Akademist:innen. The Denkwerkstatt is also a meeting place for visionaries and implementers.
