In the organizer's words:
Who doesn't know them - dear neighbors who always have the latest gossip at the ready, although they don't always take the truth too seriously. One such example is Meta Boldt! She lives with the retired tax inspector Ewald Brummer and the widow Knoop in a rented house. The widow has given her separate room to the young Heike Seefeldt. Young Dieter Brummer is no longer able to stay at home either, and so - much to the displeasure of his uncle Ewald - he moves into his uncle's room. And, of course, Meta Boldt's new occupants are also taken for a ride.
