A waltz changes to a folk song. A Bach hit is carried into jazz. The classic grows Caribbean wings. New facets from well-known masters. Fany Kammerlander and Jo Barnikel, long-standing musical partners in the Konstantin Wecker Ensemble, have joined forces with the exceptional clarinettist and saxophonist Norbert Nagel to form an extraordinary trio. The classical TRIO SFERA stands for the art of improvisation and musical, tonal and rhythmic diversity: "All three of us are deeply rooted in classical music, we are free of blinkers - musical boundaries do not exist for us. We are interested in all varieties of music. Inexhaustible curiosity always leads us to new genres and thus also to new sounds. Inspired by our many years of musical collaboration and our intimate connection to music and poetry, we embark together on a journey into undefined spheres, guided by our boundless love of the most diverse musical styles. In our own works - and our own arrangements of revered composers - we create musically very personal tone poems."
Music expresses what cannot be said, but about which it is impossible to remain silent. (Victor Hugo)
