Two Feet

With his solo project Two Feet, Zachary William Dess from New York City can look back on a career that has now spanned ten years, one he began in local jazz and blues ensembles. Today he is internationally renowned: After a meteoric start to his career, the 32-year-old musician went through a period full of ups and downs, during which one thing above all gave him stability and confidence—his music. It’s only natural that this has resulted in honest, introspective lyrics that explore intimate thoughts and feelings and resonate with his audience on a particularly deep level. Driven by a modern singer-songwriter sound that blends influences from electronic music and alternative rock, Two Feet has released numerous singles, three EPs, and four studio albums to date, and has collaborated with artists such as Gryffin, Grandson, MØ, and Sub Urban. Songs like “I Feel Like I’m Drowning, ” “Love Is a Bitch, ”“Go Fuck Yourself,” “Quick Musical Doodles,” and“Had Some Drinks” have reached nine-figure streaming numbers and rank among the artist’s biggest hits; he’s set to take the next step in his career in 2026 with a new EP. To mark the occasion, Two Feet will be coming to Cologne and Berlin in August as part of The Next Steps Tour.

Two Feet celebrated a viral breakthrough as early as 2016 with his debut single “Go Fuck Yourself.” The track paved the way for him to sign with Republic Records, where he released his debut EP “First Steps” that same year. Two more fan favorites quickly followed with the singles “Love Is a Bitch” and “Had Some Drinks,” while his song “I Feel Like I’m Drowning” became the biggest hit of his career to date. The track reached No. 1 on the US Alternative Charts in 2017, is the artist’s undisputed top song with over 700 million streams on Spotify, and served as the lead single for his debut album “A 20 Something Fuck, ” which was released in 2018. But the rapid success at the start of his career did not leave Two Feet unscathed. Through his music, he fought his way back from severe depression and alcoholism—issues he has since openly addressed and processed. This led to numerous other singles as well as the albums “Pink” (2020), “Max Maco Is Dead Right?” (2021), and “Shape & Form” (2022), which have steadily refined his signature blend of synthesizers, guitars, and rousing melodies. His latest EPs,“Drunken Fits of a Modern Age” (2025) and “Songs For February” (2026), definitively elevate Two Feet ’s sound to a new level, a shift that is also reflected in his current single, “The Way She Looks.” With an atmospheric soundscape of dark synthesizers, guitars that are both playful and dreamy, and ethereal vocals, Two Feet enchants his audience with modern, captivating indie vibes and his unmistakable voice.
