Once again, two very different artistic positions come together: Hartmut Piniek's abstract painting transports us into a state of fleetingness of things and phenomena, the indefinable signs in his paintings could belong to a sunken world as well as a future world. Gerenot Richter, who was described as the "master of copperplate engraving" in a major exhibition at the Kupferstichsammlung in Greiz years ago, has left behind a considerable number of etchings. Enchanting portfolios with drypoint etchings on Gustav Mahler and the botanist Basilius Besler as well as elaborate, large-format single sheets will inspire you. Bring a magnifying glass if necessary.
