about the new LATIBUL building project

LATIBUL has set itself an ambitious goal. We want to secure cultural education in the field of theater and circus in Cologne for the next 50 years.

To achieve this, we want to construct Germany's first completely sustainable and barrier-free timber frame building for theater and circus education.

The new building will not only bring our two locations together, but will also allow us to combine sustainability with culture and increase our spatial capacity.

Our aim is to become a place for encounters, dialog and exchange and to live values such as sustainability and togetherness. Unique and trend-setting for the whole of Germany.

An attractive event and creative venue for the performing arts (theater, circus, dance, movement, performance) is to be created directly on the Rhine, surrounded by greenery, with a meeting café for everyone.

A place where people like to linger, like to be creative, like to grow out of themselves ... a LATIBUL.

For us, for our children...
and for their children...

A project like this takes courage and many people who believe in it and are committed to it.
