Media: silkscreen and linoleum prints

Be enchanted by Uruguayan artist María Cecilia Rodriguez Oddone, known as CECIRO, and her art, which combines ecology and feminist views in a unique way. On display are limited edition linoleum and silkscreen prints from 2023 that can be admired, reflected upon and also purchased.

Ecofeminism illuminates the interplay between environmentalism and gender justice. It reflects the pursuit of a better, more sustainable world and is thus in line with several of the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations in 2015 and the related 2030 Agenda - a call to action that affects us all. Cecilia is one of the important voices of this movement which is reflected in her murals as well as in the exhibits of the exhibition.

The exhibition is rounded off by the artistic results (linoleum prints) of a feminist gathering in Cali, Colombia in 2023, which is now being exhibited in Europe for the first time. Join us and experience art that moves and inspires!

We want to bring art closer to the people by creating experiences, spaces and events where art as a catalyst triggers thoughts, conversations and exchanges about global, but also local issues of our "one world". In doing so, we especially support art makers and emblematic artisans of the global south to continue their journey.
