Vom Fallen und Aufstehen – HIDALGO Festival 2026
In the organizer's words:
ON FALLING AND GETTING BACK UP
Requiem and sound installation with flute and male voices
📍 HIDALGO Festival 2026
Running, stumbling, falling. What sounds like failure is often the beginning of something new.
Lying down, gathering oneself, getting back up.A cycle that is profoundly human.
FALLING AND RISING explores the quiet forces that sustain us when the ground beneath us begins to shake. At its heart is Jüri Reinvere’s haunting “Requiem” for flute, four male voices, and electronics: Becoming turns to passing, loss turns to hope—framed by historical images from Estonia. With two world premieres, Monika Mattiessen and Madli Marje Gildemann broaden our perspective on the fragile balance of our Earth.
A concert evening about resilience and the strength to get back up.
