One of the top indie bands of the 90s is celebrating its fortieth birthday!
In 1985, they spent a week spontaneously touring the metropolises of the Ruhr area and asked in the pubs if they could play for a quarter of an hour for the people here. In 5 minutes, with the help of two wonderful backliners, the small sound system was set up, an obscure wobble lamp placed in front of it, a quick beer poured and off they went. 15 minutes later, the bar stools were no longer squatting and the band had a few more fans. Just as quickly as they had delivered, they had disappeared into the next pub.
One week, seven cities, in 5 establishments each. Two weeks later they won the "Ruhrrockfestival" at the Zeche Bochum.
This year, 40 years, many adventures and about 12 records later, they are still on the road and are celebrating the former Ruhr area pub crawl with a new edition. This time with just one pub concert in each city. There are no tickets! The hat goes around.
