🥾🌿 SUNDAY HIKE – KLEMMENSPLATZ & THE RHINE 🌿🥾

This Sunday, we’re heading out into nature together again! 😊

📍 Meeting point: Klemensplatz
🕑 Start: 2:00 p.m.
🥾 Route: approx. 8.4 km
⏱️ Duration: approx. 2:15–2:45 hours, including breaks
🌿 Difficulty: very easy

🗺️ Our route

Klemensplatz → Wittlaer → Schwarzbach estuary → Haus Werth → Rhine riverbank/towpath → Kaiserswerth → Kaiserpfalz → St. Suitbertus → Klemensplatz

🌾 We start at Klemensplatz and first walk through fields and meadows toward Wittlaer.

⛪ Then we continue to the Schwarzbach estuary, where we’ll take our first short break.

🌊 Next, we’ll hike along the Rhine, past Haus Werth, and continue along the beautiful Rhine riverbank trail.

🏰 Finally, we’ll walk through Kaiserswerth, past the Kaiserpfalz and St. Suitbertus, before returning to Klemensplatz.

☕️ Breaks: Since it’s a bit chilly out, we’ll keep the breaks a little shorter—but of course, we’ll still make sure to leave enough time to catch our breath, have a drink, and chat. 😊

🍦 And for anyone who’s still up for a little something to wrap things up: We can go get ice cream together at Klemensplatz.

🤝 Most importantly: Everyone should feel comfortable and welcome on our hikes. We come from different walks of life, have different stories, and, of course, different opinions. That’s totally fine. It’s not about everyone thinking the same way, but about spending a nice time together, talking openly with one another, laughing, and enjoying a relaxed Sunday afternoon.
