On the occasion of the nationwide day of remembrance for victims of flight and expulsion on June 20, the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage, Kargah e.V. and the Catholic Academy of the Diocese of Hildesheim invite you to a reading and discussion in the mobile "Living Room of Shared History" on the topic of "Women* and Flight - Poetic Perspectives".

Commemoration day for 10 years

Since 2015, the victims of flight and displacement worldwide who had to leave their homes due to war, persecution, forced displacement or climate disasters have been commemorated nationwide on June 20. This year, young women* reflect on the very different experiences of their families and their own experiences in literary texts. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussion and debate. The event is part of a new series in the mobile "Living Room of Shared History", a cooperation between Kargah e.V., the Catholic Academy of the Diocese of Hildesheim and the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage.
