Weltkinderfest

In the organizer's words:

Music and dance, workshops, games and much more can be discovered at the World Children's Festival on September 15, 2024 in the Große Wallanlagen in Planten un Blomen . The festival takes place on the occasion of World Children's Day and offers lots of fun for children from 12 noon to 6 pm. All activities are free of charge.

There will be more than 50 stands offering workshops and activities such as soccer, basketball, capoeira and graffiti. The program also includes the children's rights rally and the children's rights memory.

In addition to the play stations, there is also plenty to discover on the two stages of the World Children's Festival. The choir and drum group from the Japanese School, the Chinese School and the KinderKulturKarawane will be there. The program also includes rock with Radau!, klezmer music with Mischpoke, Pauken und Planten as well as the witch Knickebein and other music acts.

About the World Children's Festival

The World Children's Festival is celebrated by KinderKinder e.V. in Hamburg on the occasion of the United Nations World Children's Day, which draws attention to children's rights. Children's rights are enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was adopted by the United Nations more than thirty years ago.
