Weltkindertag 2026
In the organizer's words:
The 2026 Bochum Youth Open will take place again.
Under the motto “Strong Children, Strong Future,” children’s and youth recreation centers, youth organizations, youth initiatives, and the Children and Youth Association will present themselves with a variety of activities and information booths.
On World Children’s Day 2026, visitors can look forward to an extensive program on the lawn in front of the German Mining Museum.
Price information:
Admission to the German Mining Museum in Bochum during the Youth Open is based on the “pay what you want” rule: Visitors pay for day passes the amount they feel the visit is worth or the amount they can afford. Annual passes are excluded from this rule. As always, free admission is available for children 4 and under.
