Wo die Muse küsst – Gespräch und Lesung mit Mithu Sanyal

We meet authors in the places where they find inspiration and talk to them about the prerequisites for creativity - and of course we also read!

After several highly acclaimed books on cultural history, author, literary critic and journalist Mithu Sanyal published her first novel "Identitti" in 2021, which Schauspiel Düsseldorf adapted directly for the stage. The self-confessed Oberbilker prefers to ponder topics such as (sexualized) violence, identity and colonialism in the Volksgarten, where we will spend this late afternoon together - and where she may also reveal something about her new novel, which will be published in autumn.
