LENA&LINUS are asking the right questions: “Where Is This Leading?” is not only the title of their second album, set for release in November, but also the name of the accompanying tour—on the LENA&LINUS – Where Is This Leading? Tour 2027, the indie-pop duo and their band will meet fans this coming February at eight shows in Germany and Austria to provide musical answers. With eleven new songs, an exclusive vinyl release, and fan-favorite live tracks from their back catalog, LENA&LINUS are announcing their in-person tour; tickets are now available for advance purchase. They’ve reached their destination!

LENA&LINUS are a very special breed in the German pop scene: The stories in their songs exude an unpretentious intimacy that, in an almost magical way, creates an immense level of emotional closeness. The duo has mastered the art of creating modern poetry in a language all their own, while simultaneously projecting detailed scenes from everyday life with crystal-clear clarity into the minds of their listeners.

Already with their first EPs, but especially with their debut album*Wir verglühen*, with which LENA&LINUS laid the foundation for their remarkable and still-young career in 2025, they demonstrated great talent for the melancholic narration of snapshots of interpersonal relationships: What began as quiet indie-pop stories about closeness, distance, and everything in between has long since become an integral part of the German-language music scene.

Sold-out tours, festival shows that make for lasting memories—such as at MS Dockville, the Reeperbahn Festival, or Deichbrand —and a steadily growing fan base followed, because the duo’s music undeniably strikes a chord: The honesty with which LENA&LINUS connect with their fans in their songs creates space for a genuine emotional connection.

For LENA&LINUS themselves, this experience—especially live—is quite intense, so after a demanding stretch performing on numerous stages in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, they deliberately took a step back. They’re using this much-needed moment of calm to gather inspiration—and from this huddle, a plan emerged:

In the phase between pausing and moving forward, they created their second album, “Wo führt das hin?”(Where Is This Leading?), set for release in November 2026. It’s an album that deliberately asks questions—because sometimes those are more important than answers. “Wo führt das hin?” tells of being on the move, of change, of enduring uncertainty, and of the courage to lose oneself in it all. Sonically, the duo remains true to its refined sense of minimalism and atmosphere; the production of this exquisite indie pop is lovingly enriched with playful elements and a palpable lightness that skillfully blends with the emotional depth of the lyrics—melancholy at its finest!
