When the amps are cranked back up to full volume in August 2026, Wolfmother will take the stage for six shows in Germany, bringing back exactly the raw power that we’ve been missing for far too long. These dates mark not only the return of one of the most influential rock bands of the past decades, but also a live experience that deliberately steers clear of routine and nostalgia. 
When the world suddenly came to a standstill in 2020 and live music fell silent, Andrew Stockdale shifted his focus entirely to his own home. There, he created “Rock Out,” an album that can be understood less as a classic studio project and more as an immediate response to an extraordinary situation. Stockdale played nearly all the instruments himself and crafted a record that oscillates between retro references and contemporary urgency. “Feelin’ Love” in particular captures this blend perfectly: a song that feels familiar without relying purely on nostalgia, and which effortlessly evolves into a driving, riff-laden highlight. With “Humble,” the album then strikes a decidedly rougher tone. The track is marked by inner turmoil, self-reflection, and an almost palpable tension that musically unloads into heavy riffs and uncompromising directness. It’s about enduring uncertainty and finding a moment of clarity amid one’s own chaos—a theme that unfolds with particular intensity in their live performances. It is precisely this balance of classic rock elements and personal growth that keeps Wolfmother relevant to this day. 
For this current phase, Stockdale has deliberately opted against high-gloss productions, choosing instead an immediate, almost raw approach. Most of the recording took place within their own circle, supported by longtime collaborators and fresh inspiration. This stripped-down approach is also reflected on stage: less staging, more focus on what matters—songs, sound, and energy. Fans will be able to experience this evolution up close in August. Blending new material with familiar tracks, the set doesn’t rest on past glories but consistently looks to the future.
