Hailing from a small village on the edge of the New Forest in England, the Woodfalls Band was founded more than 150 years ago (1874) and has grown to become one of the most respected brass bands in the Championship Section of southwest England.

Their extraordinary track record includes winning the prestigious Grand Shield in Manchester twice and being named Wessex Champion on multiple occasions. The band has competed in the British Open five times and has performed eleven times at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Their concert schedule has taken them to some of the most beautiful venues in southern England, including Salisbury Cathedral. The BBC has broadcast several of their concerts live.

Woodfalls is no stranger to the international stage either: the band has toured Switzerland and France, and it is with great pleasure that it now brings its music to Germany—continuing a proud tradition of introducing the sound of British brass bands to audiences across Europe.

Under the leadership of its musical director, Paul Holland, the band remains firmly rooted in its local community while continually building new bridges to the wider world. This concert offers the audience a fascinating glimpse into the passion, history, and musical excellence that have defined the Woodfalls Band for a century and a half.
