Most sexually active people have had to deal with the issue of contraception at some point. According to BZgA 2023, seven out of ten respondents aged 18 to 49 use contraception regularly during sexual intercourse. Contraception is therefore an issue that affects many people and is often complex.
What methods are actually available? How do they work? What advantages and disadvantages do they have - and what do they cost? In this workshop, I will provide a factual overview of the variety of contraceptives available.
It's important to me that it's about facts, not emotions or stigmatization. No hormone bashing, no myths - just scientifically sound information to help you make your own decisions. Because the "contraceptive landscape" is constantly changing.
Today, many people obtain information via social media, where unfortunately misinformation and fake news often circulate.
That's why I want to use this workshop to create a place where reliable information can be passed on in an understandable and accessible way.
As contraception concerns everyone, the event is open to all! Regardless of gender or life situation.
I'm really looking forward to this evening because the topic is close to my heart - and I'm keen to share knowledge and start a conversation.
