WortViertelFest on October 18, 2025 in Dortmund's Kreuzviertel district

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the WortViertelFest invites you to an afternoon full of literature, creativity and encounters in Dortmund from 2 to 6 pm.

The festival of words, books and ideas invites visitors of all ages to experience literature in a diverse and playful way. Numerous hands-on stations offer the opportunity to discover, create and exchange ideas.

There will be these stations:

• Art station

• Picture book cinema

• Bookbike

• Interactive painting table (Wibke)

• Word shower

• Reading stop

• The little word factory / texts to go

• Songstation

The WortViertelFest takes place in the following rooms:

• jugendstil nrw, Kreuzstraße 41, 44139 Dortmund

• Literaturhaus Dortmund, Neuer Graben 78, 44137 Dortmund

• Corridor, Neuer Graben 78, 44137 Dortmund

All stations are within walking distance. If the weather is fine, additional stations will be set up on the squares between the rooms.

Free admission.
