Lönö Estate in Sweden, 1947: lonely and abandoned, the great Zarah Leander celebrates her 40th birthday. The telephone remains silent, the voices of the past become louder and so she embarks on a musical journey through the memories of a career that she bought for herself mainly by looking the other way politically. A solo evening with sharp wit and lots of music about a woman who could never really decide between art, world events and her own responsibility.
Valerija Laubach has just been nominated for the German Musical Theater Award 2025.
