What is the future of fair trade in the face of climate change and other global challenges?
What impact does Fair Trade have on the living conditions, working conditions and future prospects of producers in the Global South?
What does young engagement along the supply chains look like and how can we all contribute to a more sustainable future, a FAIRer future?
The winners of a Fairtrade Germany Impact Challenge, 10 young people from Kenya and Germany, will take you on their journey. The FairChangers will report in words and pictures on the impressions and highlights of the exchange of experiences they developed.
On this evening, they will talk about their encounters with people in their respective host countries, their personal experiences and their commitment to Fair Trade. Find out first-hand how Fair Trade works on the ground and what new challenges climate change is already posing for agriculture in Kenya.
Following the discussion, there will be an opportunity to talk directly with individual FairChangers over drinks and finger food.
The event will be held in English and is free of charge.
The event is organized by the Cologne Fair Trade Night steering group.
The next Fair Trade Night will take place in Cologne in May 2025.
