The JugendZupfOrchester (JZO) NRW takes you on an exciting, varied journey into the world of plucked string music from Cologne to South America - goosebumps guaranteed!

The JZO NRW is a selection orchestra for the best young mandolin and guitar players and bassists in the state of NRW aged between 16 and 27. Joint sponsors are the Landesmusikrat NRW and the Bund Deutscher Zupfmusiker - Landesverband NRW. www.jugendzupforchester.de
All members of the orchestra are national or state prizewinners of the "Jugend musiziert" competition and prizewinners of other national and international competitions, are already studying at a music academy or are preparing to study music.
