That is why we are offering the following “short tours” during the “Open Observatory” event on Sunday, September 27, 2026:

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., every 20 minutes: A brief overview of the observatory’s history, followed by a climb up the tower with a panoramic view of Mannheim and the Kurpfalz region.

Duration of tours: approx. 35 min. Free admission; donations are welcome. No reservation required.
