In the organizer's words:
As a stern photographer, Michael Friedel left his mark on German post-war photography. His photographs range from haunting portraits - of Elvis Presley, Romy Schneider or The Rolling Stones, for example - to atmospheric reportages from all over the world.
The exhibition BETWEEN MOMENT AND ETERNITY shows a selection of his best-known works: photographs that capture the moment and at the same time are timeless testimonies to an era.
