The Fête de la Musique 2023 welcomes the summer on June 21 again as the largest and most popular Umsonst-und-draußen(-and-later-also-drinnen) festival in Berlin. On stages and curbs, carpets and sidewalks, in clubs and concert halls, people play for people and all together celebrate the joy of music. This great social and societal achievement is at the heart of the event, which is celebrated worldwide and has lost none of its magic even more than 40 years after its invention in Paris. On the contrary: the Fête de la Musique in Berlin is constantly evolving. In 2023, there will again be inclusive stages at the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz in collaboration with the Special Olympics, and music venues in all 12 districts of the city. A big, colorful, barrier-free festival, where even some musicians come by bike.
