The 20th Inselleuchten will take place in Marienwerder from July 12 to 14. The anniversary marks the end of the era of this special festival for adults. Last chance to experience the glittering festival once again and be enchanted.

When a few crazy enthusiasts discovered the little island at the Leesenbrück lock in August 2004 and transformed it into a small island of culture, where light, music, summer rain and artistry created an alternative world to everyday life for a few hours, nobody had any idea what it could become. That was 20 years ago. Over the years, the festival has grown more and more and has attracted many prominent artists to the festival stages, causing storms of enthusiasm. When construction work began on the 19th century lock, Inselleuchten moved to the end of the beautiful village of Marienwerder on the Werbellinseekanal. There, it has once again conquered a wonderful spot for all kinds of island magic. The organizers thought: "Don't you have to stop when it's at its best?". Now the time has come. The 20th Inselleuchten will be the last. With fantastic singers such as Joy Denelane, Catt, Ray Wilson with Genesis, Schiller, Il Civetto. Among other things, the anniversary is planned as a big three-day festival, where everything that has made Inselleuchten so popular and successful will be brought out once again: dancing fairies, mysterious pantomimes, jugglers playing with fire, quiet boat trips, swings under the starry sky, fantastic artists and light installations that create exciting scenes and give the festival its name.
