DOK.fest München is celebrating its 40th birthday this year! For the anniversary edition, the festival presents 16 thematic film series for the first time and shows four films from four decades of DOK.fest history in a retrospective. The exhibition "40 Years of DOK.fest Munich: Eyes Wide Open" at the Gasteig HP8 and the big anniversary celebration at the Ampere with live acts Angela Aux, Joasihno and Van Damme 38 are further anniversary specials we can look forward to.

105 of the best international documentaries from 58 countries will provide insights into the most diverse worlds.

Our goal is the greatest possible participation: We present the films on the big screen in Munich cinemas and barrier-free on home screens throughout Germany: DOK.fest Munich stays dual!

The international documentary film industry meets at the DOK.forum; DOK.education offers a separate film program with media education workshops for children, young people and schools.

• Reduced one-way ticket cinema (Box Office and VVK on site only): 9,00 Euro

• Festival Pass Dual: 100,00 Euro

The Festival Pass gives you access to all films and events (with the exception of the opening). Please get a free ticket for the respective event.
