Thomas Feuerstein - Prometheus Delivered

* Partner der Berlin Art Week * [14.09. - 19.11.17] Das Haus am Lützowplatz zeigt die erste institutionelle Einzelausstellung des österreichischen Künstlers Thomas Feuerstein (*1968) in Berlin. Der an der Schnittstelle von angewandter und theoretischer Wissenschaft arbeitende Künstler verschränkt in seinen Projekten Episteme aus Philosophie, Kunstgeschichte und Literatur mit Biotechnologie, Ökonomie und Politik zu einem künstlerischen Narrativ, welches Fragen nach existentiellen Grundparametern und dem Ursprung des Lebens eröffnet. Es sprechen: Alexandra von Stosch, Vorstand Marc Wellmann, Künstlerischer Leiter Der Künstler ist anwesend! Die Ausstellung ist eine Kooperation mit der ERES-Stiftung München und wird dort vom 11. The Austrian Vienna-based artist is working at the interface of applied and theoretical science and combines epistems from philosophy, art history and literature with biotechnology, economics and politics into an artistic narrative that opens up questions about existential basic parameters and the origin of life.
